Taste buds are those teeny weeny clusters located on your tongue and inside lining of your mouth that allow you to actually taste flavors. Without taste buds we really wouldn’t know just how delicious soda, cookies, cakes, steak, tacos, pasta, chips, candy or ice cream are. The tiny cells send signals of satisfactions to our brain, creating powerful desires aka, CRAVINGS. Cravings will have us longing for things that ultimately do no good for our bodies; rather leaving us overweight, malnourished and unfulfilled. Fret not my friends I’ve got good news…with practice taste buds can be retrained, cravings can be controlled and health reclaimed. I’ve taken the liberty of providing a simple starter plan for retraining your taste buds.
Now, now, now….I don’t suspect you’ll cut all your cravings at once; baby steps are permissible. I do expect you to give it your best effort. Try conquering one craving at a time. YOU CAN DO THIS!
